Sound Atlas · Beta

Help us test Sound Atlas before it launches.

Rate the songs you know, and Sound Atlas turns your ratings into ranked lists and mixes you can play in YouTube Music or Spotify. It opens to the public later this autumn; until then we are looking for people who love music to use it for two weeks and tell us honestly what works and what doesn't.

What you would do

It is free, with no ads, and your ratings carry over when Sound Atlas launches. Besides the global catalogue it has Persian, Turkish and Arabic music, and more languages.

Android

  1. Open the testers group in Chrome, not inside Gmail or another app. Check that the account picture at the top is the Google account you use on Google Play, then tap Join group.
    Join the group
  2. Open the test invitation and tap Become a tester.
    Open the invitation
  3. Install Sound Atlas from Google Play, from the invitation page.
  4. Open it and sign in with Google. Then enter your invite code (below).

Google counts testers who keep the app for 14 days, so please don't uninstall it early.

iPhone

  1. Install TestFlight from the App Store.
  2. On your iPhone, open the beta invitation, then tap Accept and Install.
    Open the invitation
  3. Open Sound Atlas and sign in with Google or Apple. Then enter your invite code (below).

On iPhone, whole lists play in YouTube Music. Playing a whole list in Spotify on iPhone is on its way.

Your invite code

When the app says You're not in yet, enter the code the person who sent you here gave you and tap Join with this code. No code? Tap Join the waitlist and we will email you one, usually within a day. You can also ask at [email protected].

If something goes wrong

Your data

Sound Atlas keeps your sign-in identity, your ratings and the feedback you send, and nothing is sold or shared. You can delete your account at any time in the app, under Account. The privacy policy has the details.
